Family Members:
Okay, we realize it has been a while, but with crazy work and school schedules, and trying to get our house ready to sell and look for a new one, we've been a bit preoccupied. Still no excuse for how long it has taken to get pictures out though, so here goes. Keira turned six years old on April 11th, and celebrated at school with her classmates on the big day. That Saturday the 16th was her birthday party at the McLean Animal Shelter. With Keira's love of dogs it was the perfect birthday party for her. She and the rest of her kindergarten class got a tour of the kennel facilities and saw all of the dogs being boarded (including a Border Collie - Keira's favorite!), as well as a tour of the lab where the kids got to practice brushing and rinsing a dog's teeth and saw ultrasounds and x-rays of real dogs. Here are a few pictures from her party.
For Easter we traveled up to Philadelphia to see Grammy and Pop-Pop and all of our uncles, aunts, and cousins. Uncle Mike and Aunt Erin's family flew all the way from Seattle, and it was great seeing them as well as everyone else. All of Grammy and Pop-Pop's grandchildren even managed to pose for a picture, which is pretty amazing. The Easter Bunny visited Grammy and Pop-Pop's house, which was a big treat, and we had a big Easter Egg Hunt with all of the cousins. Here are some pictures of us in our Easter finest.
Finally, Keira had her first soccer game this past Saturday after being rained out the two Saturdays before Easter. She was a little timid at first, and we're hopeful that she will grow into it more as the season progresses. Here are some pics from her soccer game.
